About KeshKesh

KeshKesh is my personal blog for all things web, SEO and digital marketing.

I use it to capture my thoughts, clarify my thinking and hopefully offer some insights on the latest developments in digital technology.

The name of the blog is a play on my nickname (“Kesh”) and a popular online marketing blog from the early 2000s called Dosh Dosh written by a Philosophy student from Toronto (I also studied Philosophy) which was a big inspiration early on in my career.

About Me

My name is Takeshi Young, and I started building websites over 25 years ago when I taught myself how to code in middle school.

That eventually led me to learning about SEO and digital marketing and I have had a 15+ year career working in Silicon Valley at various B2C & B2B startups, as well as advising companies through my agency.

Besides technology, my passion in life is salsa dancing. I coach the salsa team at San Jose State University, perform, compete, and create digital art that combines my passion for technology and dance.
